The Rover Mineral Field is located 80 km southwest of the township of Tennant Creek situated within Aboriginal freehold lands of the Karlantijpa North and Karlantijpa South Land Trust. Project tenure comprises five granted exploration licences (ELs) and two granted exploration retention licences (ELRs). The total tenement area is approximately 1,054 km² covering a significant proportion of the Rover Mineral Field.

Previous owners of the tenements (predominantly Westgold and Metals X) have invested over A$100M in drilling, studies and associated fieldwork over the last 10 years into these tenements. Castile’s main focus is currently the pre-development activity associated with the Rover 1 deposit which is within the Rover Mineral Field. Castile has begun a Pre-Feasibility Study to optimise the value of the project which involves environmental, geological, metallurgical and financial studies.
